Can egg white cause tooth sensitivity or tooth decay? Many nutritionists say to avoid egg whites.

I have heard of some cases in which protein powders have caused tooth decay. So there can be a connection between the quality of proteins eaten, and tooth decay. Although I do not know the exact mechanism.

There is a small possibility that eating alot of egg whites without the yolks could cause tooth sensitivity, I do not know for certain. What I do know for certain is that you can eat eggs from humanely raised chickens, whether you choose to have just the yolks, or the whole egg, and you and your teeth will be healthy.

If you are talking about some nasty non-organic factory farmed eggs that were irradiated and so forth, then yes, those can cause all kinds of problems. If the eggs are organic or relatively good, then no it is not likely. Many people in the western world have a weak digestive system. Cooked egg white is definitely one of the hardest foods to digest. Avoiding or limiting cooked eggs whites if your digestion is weak is a good idea. I try to eat as many raw eggs as I can tolerate per day, and I eat the yolk and white.

I was ready to have a tooth pulled and the dentist told me that I needed a root canal, but I had no money for either procedure. I was in pain and my cheek had already begun to swell. But after just over a month of following Ramiel's dietary protocols it is hard for me to feel which tooth was bothering me. Thanks a million to Ramiel Nagel for writing this book. Unbelievable! - Leroy, artist from Utah.
