Foods That Promote Tooth Decay (Cure for Cavities Tour Part IV)

What you do not eat is as important as what you do eat.

Many people call me who have problems with their teeth. When I ask them what they eat, I find that they eat foods which unbeknownst to them, cause tooth decay.

When you regularly eat the foods listed here, there is a good chance you will have or eventually have tooth cavities. This is because the nutrient devoid foods listed below do not give your body the minerals and vitamins that it needs to grow and sustain healthy teeth and gums. The foods that you eat also cause or contribute towards tooth infections. Therefore by avoiding toxic and denatured food temporarily, you can limit, and even heal tooth infections.

Taking multi-vitamins, organic or not, rarely fills in the nutritional gap of a poor diet. Nearly all synthetic vitamins do not work, because you cannot trick or avoid the laws of nature. The law is that we must eat whole and unrefined foods to be healthy.

Organic Does Not Mean It Is Good For You!

Perhaps many years ago, the organic label had value. If you buy any type of packaged food that says organic on the label, it is usually still bad for you. While organic labeled foods have fewer pesticides and additives, the label of organic does not equal healthy.

Organic packaged food is usually over-sweetened, over-heated and over-processed. The result is a food that does not resemble its original form and structure on the cellular level. Thus, this packaged organic food may contribute to disease and illness in your body over time.

Packaged foods, particularly rice milk, soy milk, and breakfast cereals, labeled organic or not, are life-depleting foods. Avoid them! (If you read my book, I explain in more detail why you need to avoid these common foods.)

A List of Some Foods to Avoid

Avoid - It is important not to cheat here:

Sugar – White Sugar, Brown Sugar, Organic Sugar, Evaporated Cane Juice, Corn Syrup, Commercial Jams

Flour & Grain Products – White Flour, Wheat Flour, Organic Flour, any unsoaked grain products. Examples: bread, crackers, cookies, doughnuts, breakfast cereals, muffins, pastries, tortillas, bagels, and sandwiches (Most store-bought flour products even from the health food store, or labeled organic need to be avoided.)

Hydrogenated Oils - like margarine and low quality vegetable oils such as vegetable oil, soybean oil, crisco, canola, and safflower

Any type of junk, convenience food, or modern fast food

Coffee, soft drinks, sweeteners, and anything with artificial flavors, artificial colors, or artificial ingredients

Soymilk, protein powder, and excess tofu

Pasteurized milk, even if it is organic

Non-grass-fed meat and eggs, and farm raised fish

Alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs (including most prescription drugs & vaccines)

White Bread Testimonial:

"One time I ate a tuna sandwich with white bleached flour, and the pus on my gum line erupted INSTANTANEOUSLY. Actually that was the biggest reaction from white bread; I had three large abscess bubbles.... Our body just doesn't like it." Student

When our bodies are not in superb health and we expose ourselves to processed foods, even one meal can make a big difference on the health of our teeth.
